Thursday, May 31st, 2007

So I finally got unlazy and decided to re-release my weight loss related blog, although this time it will just have random topics that I feel like writing about and it won’t be specifically about me. At least not for now.

If you wanna take a gander at my little slice of weight loss heaven, and maybe learn a thing or two, check out Lose Weight Fast and here is my latest article hand written by me Calculating Caloric Intake for Weight loss

That is all for today people,

Enjoy!

Ginger Garlic Chicken Prawn Stirfry

Friday, August 12th, 2005

Ingrediants:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 200g cooked prawns
  • 1 yellow pepper
  • 1/4 red pepper
  • 5 asparagus stalks
  • 2 cups broccoli/colliflower combo
  • 3/4 cup cooked soy pasta
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Pepper
  • Directions
First off cook the chicken up in your teflon wok, throw some water in it and put a lid over top to steam it so it cooks faster. Once the chicken is cooked, throw in the broccoli and colliflower followed by all the other diced up ingrediants.

Add garlic, ginger and pepper to taste.

Add a little bit of water to help steam all the vegetables and throw a lid over top to let it steam them, stir every 5 minute to prevent the vegis on the bottom from burning.

This should make 2-3 servings. The total protein count on the entire stirfry is roughly 130g, resulting in 3 45g protein meals or 2 65g meals.

    Tuna Cowboy

    Tuesday, August 2nd, 2005

Ok, I just made this recipe up on the fly because I was starving and was not really in the mood to cook anything.

This meal yeilds roughly 40g protein, 6g fat and 2-5g carbohydrates(including the veggis) but its a little high on the sodium due to the canning of the fish and the processed parmesan
Roughly 222-235 calories depending on brands etc you use.

    Ingrediants
    1 can tuna
    1/4 broccoli diced
1 teaspoon minced garlic or garlic powder
1/8th cup diced yellow pepper (can use green or red if you are cheap..LOL)
    1 Tablespoon Light Mayonaise
    1 Tablespoon Light Parmesan
    Italian seasoning to taste

    Directions:
Chop all this stuff up, and stir it together in a giant bowl. It tastes pretty damn good if you ask me.

When it is all done the Tuna Cowboy should look like this splendid little bad boy:
